Kelsey Hollis, LPC
My name is Kelsey Hollis, and I am a counselor, wife, momma, daughter, sister, and friend. In each of those roles, my hope is to walk alongside people as they pursue healing and fullness of joy. I originally pursued counseling because I love to hear people’s stories. As I pressed into counseling, professionally and personally, the Lord revealed the depth of brokenness within my own heart and in my world. On many different couches and alongside many wise counselors, He continually guides me to His Truth as the answer amidst my suffering and Himself as the Healer amidst my pain. As a counselor, I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to sit “across the couch” from people; and, I firmly believe that there is hope for change within that space.
I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Tim, since 2011. Tim serves as the Worship Minister for our local church, and we have two sweet kiddos. I received my Masters in Counseling from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi and my Bachelors in Psychology from Texas A&M University (Whoop!). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I am certified as a Biblical Counselor through the Association of Biblical Counselors.
I am committed to working hard alongside my clients to provide professional, insightful counsel that is rooted in Truth. It would be my joy and honor to hear your story and walk with you for a season. I believe that, the Lord is faithful to bring life, fellowship, and healing in our moments of vulnerability (1 John 1:7-9, John 8:12, Romans 8:28). Wherever the Lord has you, I pray He continually conforms you to His image, comforts you with His eternal comfort, and brings life and light into the hard, confusing, or disappointing parts of your story.
