Kallie Norred, LPC-Associate, Supervised by Rachael Rosser, LPC-S

My name is Kallie and, in addition to being a counselor, I am a Christ-follower and wife to Sheldon. I am a native Texan originally from the Austin area but have called Dallas home for the last six years. My husband and I love hanging out with our community, being active members of our local church, and spending time with our sweet pup!

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. While in graduate school, I saw both traditional and non-traditional students in the university counseling center. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate and enjoy working with individuals through a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, life transition, relational issues, and loss.

I believe that the counseling relationship is a powerful tool that points people to hope in the darkest days. Having been a recipient of counseling myself, I have experienced first-hand the change that can occur within the context of a therapeutic relationship. I believe that a holistic approach to counseling which addresses issues through the lens of mind, body, and spirit can help provide insight into a new way of dealing with issues in life. My hope for those who sit in front of me is that they would receive practical steps for healing alongside biblical wisdom that can be a catalyst for change. I want my clients to feel both heard and challenged when they come to a session. I would be honored to hear your story and work alongside you as we seek to promote health and healing in your life.
