Hillary received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has received her certification in biblical counseling and Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT). She is also a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) practitioner, a modality of therapy geared toward children from hard places. Hillary enjoys counseling children, adolescents, and female adults presenting with behavioral challenges, depression, anxiety, attachment wounds, abuse, grief, trauma, divorce, stress management, life transitions, and self-esteem.  She takes a holistic approach to counseling uniquely tailored to each client. She is passionate about people experiencing healing from God through the process of sharing and making sense of their story in the context of God's bigger story. Hillary uses a variety of interventions including play, expressive art activities, movement, and narrative therapy. Hillary also has a background in the arts, as she graduated from the English National Ballet School with a degree in Professional Classical Ballet. Hillary enjoys spending time with her husband and her two daughters. The Marvin family worships and serves at Citizens Church.
